NAB 2019
Part 3

After having some lunch outside we came in from the food court and the first booth I saw was NBCUniversal/Cineo booth.  I was about to continue walking since I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Cineo's past partnership when all of sudden the LightBlade LB800 caught my eye. It was something I was familiar with from reading about it in an ASC article that a show had used them and were really pleased. So, the friendly Cineo rep took me through the whole demonstration as I sat there listening and seeing the different improvements, I found myself getting excited about this light. It was extremely refreshing to see the ease of use also the ease of repairing. If you need to replace a driver or power supply this unit opens up better than anything I've seen on the market. To change a power supply, you can do it in less than 5 minutes. Plug and play with a couple of screws.
The LB800 really came together with a lot of good suggested feedback from Gaffer's and Rigging Gaffer's and it shows.  We've decided to do a demo on this light also so look out for it soon.

As I wrap up this year’s tips on NAB I wanted to let you know that even though we are inundated with new technology ALL AROUND US THERE ARE STILL GOOD VIABLE PAINT BRUSHS TO CREATE THE LIGHTING YOU'RE LOOKING FOR out there and don't be afraid to look behind you, sometimes that's the quickest exit to your lighting needs.

Take a look at their specs:
